Why compare Allardyce's worst period with Bilic?
I'm far from being an Allardyce fan but that's just stacking the odds in your favour and not a level playing field.
How does it look match for match (i.e fixtures played this season to them last season?)
I'm sure it's still much better for Bilic but that would be a more accurate comparison.

Clearly the interesting bit is what happens over the second half of this season compared to last.
If Slav and the team can keep it up, that's when the gulf should really widen.

Allardyce won 3 league games out of 21 from Christmas to the end of May.
Bilic has already won 2 out of 3.

I think Allardyce would have done better in the second half of the season had there not been injuries to Song, Sakho, Valencia, Carroll, Reid, Collins, etc?
I don't see the point of the thread - I can't think of anyone (sane) who is campaigning that Allardyce would be a better manager for us than Bilic? Who is this aimed at, because nearly everyone who posts on here knows all of this already?

I don't think that's correct. Though how much either manager really controlled the players coming in is an open question.
